Okay, Great, watch that, click here, press play, come back and read on …

Gents, this is Nick Wooster, he’s the flyest thing in MensWear, he is to me the most important living person on the earth, then perhaps Tom Brady, then Jesus.

Make no mistake, Nick Wooster is an Internet superhero. If you’re looking for proof, simply Google Image search the staggeringly well-dressed men

Wooster is the perhaps the most influential accesible menswear aesthetic today, hes responsible for the following -> This and This and That and This and That and That and This and This.

The fact remains since the explosion of street style, fashion blogs and social media Nick Wooster has been catapulted into the forefront of men’s minds as a reference point for their sartorial choices.

GQ: Are you surprised that street style has become so popular?
Nick Wooster:
It 100% caught me by surprise. One day, Tommy Ton, who was the first one to take my picture, took my picture and it appeared on GQ.com. I was literally in Milan when all of a sudden I started getting all of these messages from people telling me about it. I didn’t even know that GQ had—sorry!—that feature on the web site. I think it’s important because I think it’s good for business, I think it’s good for brands and I think it’s good for designers. It’s just good for everyone, you know?

Hear what he has to say on the following:

“The last time I wore this jacket was when I was photographed in it…so it seemed like a good way to start. I love the idea of subverting a beautifully tailored jacket in camo. The fabric and fit are supreme, and I love the idea of a matching jacket and tie.”

Bonus Tip: Once you have the essentials (like fit, color coordination, confidence, etc) mastered, then you can become a man of great detail. I’m talking about things like a bandana as a pocket square, cargo shorts with a jacket and tie, a military inspired belt paired with camo, mismatched captoe/wingtip brogues, and an old school mustache curl to coincide with the unbuttoned collar point curl. As you can see, the man is no rookie.

Look, more:

“Left foot is a wingtip, right foot is a cap toe [yes, they are a pair]. This is my favorite shoe of the summer.”

“I am just an old midget queen who, you know, had the good fortune to get this job and it’s like, ‘How did that happen?’ It’s very, very flattering. I guess I know how to dress myself, and that’s probably the only thing I can do, so it’s nice that somebody notices.” He’s being modest.

Dont take my word for it, im not asking you too, but you’re here, an you’re reading this, an we obv have some common ground, so its no surprises that you agree on atleast that, Nick Wooster is the fucken man okay, an to give you a heads up, its almost 2012  in NYC, which is atleast 3yrs ahead of Australia and 5+yrs ahead of Brisbane and so on an so on, so if you take some of his advice on board your at least excitedly in advance of any jonnie local professional sports player rocking your style in the social pages atleast until 2086.

Here’s 10 inspired Nick Wooster things you might want: Red Wing Boot, VisVim Boot, fitted suit, Nosocks, Mark McNairy Buck shoe, Fran Lebowitz, Metropolitan Life, Hi-sides crew barber cut, Boot Jacket, Shorts, Matching tie shirt

Anyways, im sure you get the idea an apologies if you feel im speaking out of line, but you know, hope you get something from it … More Nick Wooster here -> fuckyeahnickwooster.com/

Other fly dudes of note, Designer Junya Watanabe, Designer Mark McNairy, also how to dress well, cheaply by GQ.

You’re Welcome, an yer, roll ya jeans up … Ya digg?

Anyways, song.
